A Ministry of David and Robin Kimler |
|
After these things I looked
and behold a great multitude which no one could number, of all nations, Tribes,
peoples and tongues, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed with
white robes...and crying out with a loud voice, saying "Salvation belongs to our
God who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb" ... and fell on their faces before
the throne and worshipped God.
Revelation 7:9-11

IMAGINE.... accepting an invitation to come and teach on missions - from a guy who worked for several years with the underground drug trafficking mafia
of Colombia!
While there I met a woman who had fought in the guerilla opposition
but now is planting churches and teaching missions with her husband! Well, all that
happened on this past trip to Bogota, Colombia.
We pray you are doing well in the
Lord, and that His glory is daily manifesting through your life. We are so grateful
for your great part in training up pastors and church leaders that will in turn
motivate and mobilize others to make God’s name made known and famous among the
nations! Your gifts and prayers are gratefully appreciated!! We praise God for you!
We are beginning to see the church arise in South America in order to go to the
unreached ethnicities of the Amazon and 10/40 Windows. As this is happening, we
are receiving invitations that are both exciting and challenging. This past trip
to train
church leaders in Bogota proved to be a rewarding and difficult time. I
got a flu virus that blocked my ears. It was difficult to teach, but I felt the
Lord’s power while teaching. Having stopped up ears though was intense torture on
the three flights I had to take on my return trip back to the U.S. I felt as if
my brain was going to explode! I think I can really relate now to people who have
debilitating migraines!
I was so honored and grateful to be a small part of this
Global Worship team when I saw that we were able to scholarship 3 leaders who attended.
I then interviewed these key leaders as they shared the impact this training had
on their lives and was humbled to have been a part of such a great blessing in their
lives! On top of this, the most mind boggling opportunities have come out of this
week of ministry to a few of God’s choicest servants.
Before us we have 3 great
opportunities God has opened up remaining for this year, and a huge one for next
year 2007!
In August, a friend will take a group to Leticia, Colombia on the
Amazon to continue work on the water filter project. David really desires to go
on this trip and bring Pastor Luis Davila over from Iquitos so he can begin implementing
the water filters for the 53 communities where he and his team have churches. Funds
are needed to buy materials for the filters.
In October we have the opportunity to minister to Venezuelan pastors and leaders for several days during some important
holidays. Pastor Luis asked me to come during this time because he believed that
more leaders could come during this time. We have the opportunity to bless and minister
to leaders on the entire island of Margarita, Nueva Esparta. One of the key pastors
there, Andres Ferrer, has been used of the Lord to build a prayer movement among
the men of the island. We pray we can encourage him with the revival that is happening
in Fiji.
In November God has opened the door to motivate for missions young adult
leaders who will be coming from all over Colombia to meet for a few days concerning
missions. What a strategic time this is to affect the youth leaders of an entire
nation!
Then next summer in 2007 young adults and leaders will come from many South
and Central American countries for an international summit to train mobilizers for
two weeks. We have been invited to be the key trainers during this event!
We are
being stretched in a way as never before! Already 4 trips have been made this year.
Bob Smith has returned from the 5th trip this year (more in next communiqué), and
I am about to take my 6th trip to go for a missionary training and mobilizing in
Virginia.
We have carefully used all the resources and support that has come in
so far and to date we have totally depleted every supply available. Would you prayerfully
consider how the Lord of the harvest might have you to STRETCH through prayer and
giving in order that we can continue to go and fill these strategic needs?
Would
you pray that God will raise the financial support level to be able to do what we
feel like He is leading us to do?
Thank you so much for standing with
us in prayer and support!!
In Him,
David, Robin and kids |

Prayer Requests

God Answers Prayer!!
|
Thank you for Praying !! |
- We were approved by the IRS and were given permanent non-profit status!! Thank
you for praying!!
- We were given a 1995 Mazda!! Praise the Lord!
- God has provided
some funds for the laptop. More are needed, so please believe with us that we can
get it soon. David needs the laptop for his next trip.
- Bob Smith, a retired brother took his first mission trip with us in 2004 to Venezuela,
Colombia, Brazil and Peru and flew for the very first time. He just returned from
the Amazon after making a trip by himself!! He was an incredible blessing to the
people and we can’t wait to share about his trip with you all. He took 2 keyboards
to give away to churches that your gifts helped purchase!
- The Lord has been so
faithful in answering prayers about our health!!
|
|
Please pray with us for the following things: |
- That we as a family would fall more passionately in love with Jesus and radiate
His love to others! That our children would continue to seek godly friends and be
leaders.
- Wisdom about our involvement in reaching the unreached tribal groups
along the Pastaza River, a tributary of the Amazon where there is NO church among
almost 20,000 inhabitants. Pray for God’s timing of a scout out the land trip to
the Pastaza River and the unreached. Also pray for the people God wants to be a
part of that trip.
- The Pastors on the Amazon as they try to reach out to the
people on the river – that God’s spirit would move along the Amazon River preparing
hearts.
- Open doors for David to share in churches here and mobilize people her
for missions.
- Please pray for funds for David’s trip to Venezuela in October.
Also for David’s stamina and health while there.
- For more partners and increased
support needs due to higher living costs.
- Pray for Nathan, David’s brother. The
tumor was malignant and he is seeking the Lord for alternatives in the next step
of his healing. Please pray for complete healing!
- Continued health for all of
us. We thank the Lord for our health.
- We have only 2 small things to get done
to put our house on the market. We are asking God to help us sell our house and
in the process get us out of debt and help us find another house. Would you pray
with us for the wisdom of the Lord? We want to be obedient and hear his exact directions
how to do everything. Pray we would do only His perfect will.
- Our van has a great
need for new tires. We also need a spare for each vehicle. Please agree with us
for these.
